Crime and Punishment is the masterpiece of the Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky, a psychological novel that was first published in the magazine The Russian Messenger in 1866 in a total of twelve parts and later published as a novel.


Along with Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace, Crime and Punishment is considered one of the most influential novels in Russian literature and its protagonist's dialogues with some of the characters in the play are considered authentic peaks of world literature.

This text was about a young man who lived in isolation, only concentrated on him, but who also had many economic problems, he stopped worrying about things that before mattered a lot to him, he knew that he was poor and was going to be very judged by others, he thought that other people were going to attack him and they were not going to let him live in peace,  so there comes a point where he decides to escape, but an escape where no one realizes his situation, no one judges him and can be calm, so he decides to flee without a trace.
